Training Calendars

NYSDA maintains list of Training Calendars that list upcoming programs offered by NYSDA as well as national and state conferences and seminars of interest to criminal defense lawyers.
 

MCLE Rules and Guidelines

NYSDA is an Accredited Provider of Continuing Legal Education in New York State, certified by the Continuing Legal Education Board. Information about CLE requirements, rules and regulations is available from the Office of Court Administration.
 

Defender Institute

NYSDA's Defender Institute offers the Basic Trial Skills Program, which is an intensive, nationally recognized trial advocacy trainer held each summer at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. The Association also conducts or sponsors statewide and regional criminal defense practice training programs throughout the year.
